Finally the day has come after the 3 years spent in tertiary education
after all the hard work being put into projects has paid off in just one day
the Graduation Ceremony would be held on the 21st May 2009
hmmm it should be a memorable day for me bahzz

anyway received my enlistment letter le
going in on 24th July
kinda having mixed feelings
anxious to get in but also reluctant to
maybe perhaps if i didn't have asthma i would have been more keen to do so
at least its would be what i'll like to do
at least be able to go outfields and travel to different countries
rather than being based at CMPB doing clerical work
hmmm maybe give me driver i also song

haizzz anyway
whatever it is just going to go with it and make the best out of it
in life there's some things we can't choose
we've just got to do what we have to

A LEGO Brick so small but yet so unique
though it is still among the pile of LEGO bricks
although every piece will fit
it may not perfect

The LEGO Brick new and fresh just out of the box
just the temptation to go on and start playing with it
with multiple ways which the brick could be attached
there are infinite possibilities
the potential to become a beautiful models
endless creations and inventions

Every LEGO Brick is brightly coloured
but who might know maybe it is just an appearance
the colour might fade
and due to wear and tear
the edges might no longer be as sharp
the studs would lose their grip
perhaps till then it will be left aside

had a long talk with my sister today
we were talking about psychology then to relationships, compatibility and marriage
it was quite a talk to get loads off our chests
well i confided with her and perhaps its seems like the best thing to do
despite already having the feeling within myself
after the talk it somehow confirmed what i feel

anyways
FYP is soon coming to an end
when the final product is coming to its final form
i have the whole week mapped out for myself
i'm bracing myself for the challenge and i believe i can make it
with the adrenaline pumping i can't wait to finally finish the project

another cause of celebration is the end of my poly life
its been 3 years now since the day that i went in with the intention to go in and get my diploma
the whole course of study was really a wonderful experience
some projects which i'm especially proud of and some which are learning experiences
which i will take with for the rest of my life
on the whole i really enjoyed my time in tertiary education
and i'm about to undertake a new phrase in my life

maybe its all crap about the whole turning 21 and becoming an adult
but maybe for me i'm starting to think deep and plan for my future
with the dilemma of continuing and pursuing a degree in Product Design
whether my passion still lies in product design
or should i actually change a course of study?

i'm in a transitional period of my life
and its crucial as it would affect the future paths
and what i would turn out to be
at this point of time
i wish to take a step back to see things in a clearer picture
i wouldn't want to be making hasty decisions and be threading on dangerous grounds
and regret what i set out to do

on the path to finding myself...

then you're being brought into the room and the rope staring at you
as they place your head between the loop
and just before they pull the level
a report comes in to halt the execution
there is an extension
and the execution is brought back by 2 weeks

Sea Of Thought Part 2

I managed to find myself stranded on a deserted island...
the last thing i remembered was fighting so hard against the storm
tugging and pulling on my ropes and mast
strong winds and the ocean splashing all in my face
experiencing all of nature's wrath
perhaps i was knocked out by a swinging part of my ship
or perhaps i fell overboard
i felt that it was the end for me
it happened all too quickly

washed up ashore...
thankful for being alive
but also upset and disappointed that my ship is in wrecks
in this forsaken island
god knows what dangers and evil has in store
stashed away waiting to be unleashed upon me
what's important now is for me to survive
it would be years for me to rebuild the ship i lost
restore everything for the palm trees standing right before me
accomplishing this feat would be a long and painstaking process
which i have to endure
only by rebuilding the ship i'm able to roam the seas freely once again...

Long Weekend

its been a long weekend
went clubbing on friday night
went to St. James Power House
house music
not really my thing
just sat there and enjoy drinking mixers

but anyway drove my friends home
some of them though
whahahaha
hmmmm
but the rest of the weekend mostly spent at home
went down to IKEA on saturday morning
dad suddenly wanted to buy two chairs to be fitted at the back of the van
whahahaha
so we did
went down and bought two chairs and secured them to to the floorboards
but then leter on some guy, a passer-by came along on his bicycle and told us that its illegal to secure
TP can fine us de
whahahaa
then after discussing what to do with the chairs
we decided to leave it for the time being
till we find a better solution

Sea of Thought

For the past few days been thinking deep
i don't know just have this feeling that got alot of things on my mind

even though i thought spending a day at sentosa would help me clear my thoughts
it did help abit but i still got alot of things on my mind
deeper thoughts
说不出的话

i feel like as if i set out on a journey out into sea
out to face storms and all sorts of creatures
and weathering all difficulties
and i'm out alone to man the ship
although with some wonderful friends
like the sun, moon, clouds and stars
rendering help when i need it most

perhaps out to rescue someone?
trapped out in the gigantic ocean
maybe losing hope and thinking that all is gone
and there's no chance of survival

i'm not too sure myself
not sure if i can really face up to these challenges
parts of the ship has already been damaged
quite certain that if i were to turn back now
the entire ship would just collapse
and be sucked into the vertex of the whirlpool
both me and my ship would perish

most importantly
the person would still be out at sea
suffering

looking over the horizon
hoping that it'll be a 海阔天空
with what's left of my crazy mind
i'll still be steering the ship
looking and searching for a sign
just a shinny object floating out on the surface
to keep me going...

All this time my deep emotions and thoughts have been buried deep within my heart
almost no one knows what emotions that goes through my heart (except one who got really close..)
its not any of their faults
perhaps its because i hide it too well bahzz
no one really notices
i drank much last night
initially i really wanted to get really drunk and really pour everything out
but this sense of responsibility in me kept me from getting drunk despite having to drink so much
the need to take care of my other friends who were drunk
i just didn't want to burden my friends with my problems
not that i feel burdened whenever my friends pour their heartfelts unto me
i know that everyone needs emotional support every now and then
but i just feel that there's no need to let someone else help you solve your problems

like they say bottled emotions are never too good for one
perhaps i just got a bigger bottle than others bahzz
but no matter how big the bottle is
i can feel it filling up

another saying goes that men don't cry
i say that everyone cries
its whether they're seen or not

i just want to let this silent prayer go out to everyone
you guys have been the best bunch of friends that anyone could have
i never regretted knowing every one of my friends around me
despite quarrels and arguments
and even some that lose contact
but i'll still like to wish them well
excelling well in what ever they do
taking charge of their futures
i wish you guys happiness
and success for the future

friday:
attended director's talk in the morning it lasted till afternoon
then stay around played a couple of games
then went down to my mom's kindergarden to do the surveys

the kids super curious lor
everything also want to kaypo
also ask super alot of questions
but anyway the recording wasn't too well done
managed to convert the files to a common format le
but still quite bad quality

saturday:
went back to dunman
wha went back to help dismantle the artifacts lor
super dusty and alot of stuff
cause got to separate the mechanical parts and the trash
lucky there were 4 of us
we cleared like 8 big trash bags worth of artifacts

spent the whole day at home today

school started out fine initially
class was well as we decided to do our project on LEGO
whahahah yah again
but now its for a different module
at least can use some of the stuff we did previously so no need to do so much work

it sucks with the new CM
cause she's like super new to the system and all
and she's very reluctant to assign us modules
cause it'll cause her extra work to do so
so now i run the risk of not being able to graduate on time because one module is only offered 2 months from now cannot be confirmed

meaning that i would have to stay another stupid semester to get it completed
that's ridiculous

Ever played Dumb?

the one where you move the chess pieces around on red and black squares
the game goes when you can move a step at a time to get to your opponents side of the board
slowly step by step you advance

but there'll eventually be a time when you need to sacrifice
cause you got to eat or be eaten to further advance along the board
after much sacrifice and hardships you go through you eventually get to the end of the board which is also your opponents side of the board

then
this is the point when you're "Dumb"-ed
and they stack a second chess piece above the one that made it
everything then returns to square one
which you have to continue killing off the other pieces until a victor arises

isn't it stupid, as in dumb to go through all that suffering and hardship just to attain the title of Dumb
and to know that you'll eventually return to square one

however, ultimately...
you realised that the victor has only one piece of chess left...
but upon close analysis and calculation you also realise that technically its two chess pieces

moving together through the hardships till the very end...

well its at the crucial point of time for our major project 3
done my Marquette and felt that it didn't really help me alot for finding the form

probably the next stage would be to figure out the proper dimensioning and the safety features

i'm still thinking whether to go down school tomorrow to get a piece of cupboard to work on something for my dimensioning

besides P3 i was assigned my first assignment for language of film
watched memento in class and we were supposed to write a 500 word essay analysing the film

i enjoyed the show
but however i didn't think that its the best film to write about
i think for most of the class they didn't even managed to understand what the whole story was talking about much less comment on it
i shall not discuss it here cause i'm afraid of saying too much and thus might skew and structure other's essay opinions to it becoming similar

I'm freaked out
thinking of alot of things right now

i think life is really unique
its one's journey of seeking answers
to various problems and questions
take today from an example
i was faced with several questions which i myself have to answers to
and because of this i smiled several times today
all of which had different deeper meanings

i'm abit confused
whether i'm afraid to get it done
or having that burning desire

but now i also see
why its a transition period for me
as found out earlier in leadership class
i am now actually sitting a a bus stop waiting for the bus to come
probably without a destination in mind
maybe that's why the buses don't come or they're just unsuitable
i could sit here to curse and swear
or should i do something about it?

I feel like as if in starwars
the difference between luke and his father was that they thought of very different goals and destinations
but both of them had a same situation
whether to succumb to the dark side
i may be facing the same situation but with a different context

I got into an accident.....

luckily no one was hurt
but however maybe i'm hurt mentally
got blasted the whole day
expected it
i think this is a very important lesson learnt
an an expensive one
repairs for the damages amount to 600 plus
